Gol Gumbad, also known as Bagh-i-Alam Ka Gumbad, is a 16th-century Lodi-era tomb in Delhi's Lodi Gardens. Its name means "round dome" in Hindi. The structure is notable for its octagonal shape and distinctive architecture. Built during Sultan Sikandar Lodi's reign, it serves as a prime example of Lodi architecture and is a popular tourist attraction.
Amenities developed to enhance visitor experience SIGNAGES
We have successfully implemented comprehensive signage enhancements for the monument, including Braille signage at the monument itself and park gates, backlit entrance information displays, and illuminated signage for the monument, ensuring improved accessibility and visibility for all visitors.
We have completed the monument illumination project and established on-going maintenance protocols, while also developing and implementing a comprehensive horticulture plan to enhance and maintain the surrounding landscape, enhancing its visual appeal.
ELECTRICITY & WATER MANAGEMENT
We have optimized the utility management systems for both electricity and water at the monument site, ensuring efficient operations, and have also undertaken maintenance work on the monument guard hut to keep it in good condition, improving overall site functionality and security.
MAINTENANCE
We have strategically placed dustbins throughout the park to promote cleanliness and facilitate proper waste disposal, while also implementing a housekeeping management system to maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness across the entire site.
UNIVERSAL ACCESSIBILITY
We have improved visitor comfort and accessibility at the monument by installing a universal accessibility ramp to ensure equal access for all visitors, and strategically placing benches throughout the site to provide convenient resting areas.
HORTICULTURE
By meticulously developing and maintaining the greenery, our horticultural experts have significantly enhanced both of the site's beauty. Through careful planning and execution of landscaping, grassing, and hedging, we’ve converted barren patches into peaceful green havens, reflecting our dedication to creating serene spaces.
