Bara Lao Ka Gumbad
A heritage monument site adopted to develop basic and advanced amenities

MOU signed – 24th Dec'2019

Bara Lao Ka Gumbad is a 14th-century tomb located in Vasant Vihar, Delhi. Built during the Tughlaq dynasty, this square-shaped structure features a large central dome and smaller corner domes. Its name translates to "tomb with a large dome." Despite its historical significance, the tomb's precise origins and the identity of its occupant remain uncertain.

Amenities developed to enhance visitor experience

SIGNAGES

We have enhanced visitor information and accessibility at the monument by installing comprehensive information signage throughout the site, as well as implementing Braille signage at both the monument itself and the park gates, ensuring that all visitors, including those with visual impairments, can easily access important information.

ILLUMINATION

We have successfully completed the comprehensive maintenance and enhancement of the monument, including horticultural development and illumination.

ELECTRICITY & WATER MANAGEMENT

The monument's operations have been supported by our efficient management of utility services (electricity and water), while also ensuring the security of the site through the maintenance of the guard hut.

MAINTENANCE

Our team has strategically placed dustbins across the park for easy waste management and disposal, keeping our heritage sites clean.

HORTICULTURE

Our team successfully transformed barren areas into vibrant green sanctuaries. Strategic planting and maintenance created serene green spaces and elevating the site's allure, embodying our commitment to natural beauty and tranquillity.
